...last but not least { al ajillo shrimp }
A traditional appetizer that can also be the center of the meal, it suits both a picnic or a fancy dinner at home. Using pre-cooked shrimp cuts back on the preparation time.

Liebster Award
Esta semana fui presenteada por dois blogues, um que gosto muito de seguir, o Prazer a Cozinhar, da Joana, e outro que conheci recentemente, o Sabores com Tempo, da Manuela!
This week I've been awarded by two blogs, one that I enjoy very much following, Joana's Prazer a Cozinhar, and other that I've just met, Manuela's Sabores com Tempo!

...following up { cheese almond and honey pastries }
This picture does not fathom how good these are. Crispy, cheesy and with a touch of honey, these appetizers will disappear in a blink of an eye. Plus... they are super easy to make!

Because we love spoiling our friends { oven-baked turkey rice }
Roasted duck rice is a very traditional dish in Portugal that everybody loves. Being a roast, and if you're like me and cook the rice entirely in the oven, it leaves you free for about one hour to do whatever else you'ld like - like mingling with your guests - before serving. Its turkey version is just as delicious, easier and more budget-friendly.
